3 Akun Yang Sebaiknya Dimiliki Oleh Blogger

Ada banyak sekali aplikasi web (contoh: YouTube, Gravatar, dll) yang dapat anda gunakan untuk memaksimalkan kegiatan blogging anda. Untuk menggunakan aplikasi tersebut, anda membutuhkan akun untuk mengaksesnya. Menariknya, dewasa ini tidak semua aplikasi membutuhkan akunnya masing-masing. Ada akun yang dapat digunakan untuk mengakses beberapa aplikasi web sekaligus. Menarik bukan?

Sekarang, ada banyak sekali akun yang dapat anda miliki. Namun apa akun yang penting untuk dimiliki bagi blogger untuk memaksimalkan kegiatan ngeblognya? Berikut ini tiga akun ‘wajib‘ dan beberapa akun ‘sunnah‘ yang saya rasa sangat esensial untuk dimiliki untuk blogger:

Google Account

Jika anda sign up (mendaftar) ke gmail atau layanan google lainnya, secara otomatis anda telah memiliki Google Account. Apa yang dapat kita lakukan dengan Google Account? Dengan Google Account, anda bisa mengakses:

Gmail - salah satu layanan web mail paling oke
Google Analytics – Tools yang dapat anda gunakan untuk mengetahui traffic blog anda
Google Reader – RSS Feed reader. Sangat membantu untuk tetap up to date dengan post terbaru dari blog-blog lain yang anda sukai
Google Docs – aplikasi pengolahan dokumen online (seperti microsoft word namun online) yang sangat berguna untuk pengolahan dokumen secara kolaboratif. Jika blog anda dikelola lebih dari satu orang, aplikasi ini akan sangat berguna untuk anda
Blogspot – layanan blogging milik Google yang sangat fleksibel untuk digunakan
Google Friend Connect – Aplikasi yang dapat anda gunakan untuk membuat blog anda lebih “social“
YouTube – yap, Google Account dapat digunakan untuk mengakses YouTube. Memposting video ke posting anda akan menjadi mudah kan? Upload video ke YouTube, lalu embed di post anda. Voila!

Akun WordPress

Akun ini sangat penting terutama bagi anda yang ngeblog menggunakan platform blogging wordpress. Anda bisa mendapatkan WordPress Account dengan sign up ke wordpress.com. Dengan akun ini, anda bisa mengakses:

WordPress.com – layanan blogging yang sangat keren berbasis project open source paling populer didunia
API Key Akismet – anda yang menggunakan self hosted wordpress blog tahu betapa pentingnya aksimet untuk menangkal SPAM. Untuk mengaktifkan akismet, anda membutuhkan API Key Akismet. API Key akismet ini bisa anda dapatkan di dashboard wordpress.com anda
Gravatar – lihat foto yang muncul di kolom komentar? Foto tersebut muncul melalui aplikasi Gravatar. Dewasa ini, secara de facto gravatar sudah menjadi semacam standar untuk avatar pada area komentar (karena banyaknya jumlah blog berbasis wordpress). Dan ya, gravatar dapat langsung anda akses jika anda memiliki akun wordpress.

Akun Slideshare

Sudah tahu slideshare? Sederhananya, slideshare adalah YouTube untuk slide presentasi. Berbeda dengan dua akun diatas, akun slideshare hanya dapat digunakan untuk mengakses situs slideshare saja. Namun dengan akun ini, anda bisa mengakses slideshare, mengunggah slide presentasi atau pdf dan meng-embedd nya ke blog post anda. Untuk anda yang banyak berbicara menggunakan slide dan ingin berbagi dengan audience blog anda melalui slide presentasi, anda wajib memiliki akun slideshare.

Selain tiga akun diatas, ada juga beberapa akun lain yang saya rekomendasikan anda untuk miliki:

Akun Twitter – meskipun fungsionalitas utama twitter adalah microblogging, namun karena popularitasnya ada banyak sekali aplikasi web yang dapat anda gunakan dengan log in melalui akun twitter anda.
Akun Facebook – ambisi facebook untuk ‘menghubungkan dunia’ membuat mereka merilis facebook connect. Dengan facebook connect, anda bisa log in ke situs lain dengan profile facebook anda. Salah satu contoh aplikasi yang dapat anda gunakan dengan akun facebook anda adalah formspring. Anda juga bisa membuat facebook page dan fanbox untuk blog anda melalui akun facebook.
Akun Disqus – disqus adalah commenting system intuitif yang mengoptimalkan fitur komentar blog. Ketika berkomentar di situs yang menggunakan disqus, komentar anda akan dikumpulkan oleh Disqus sehingga anda akan tahu dimana saja anda berkomentar. 8 Tips on How to Start an SEO Campaign

Several small & mid size businesses contact us daily for SEO consultation and helping their websites rank well on search engines. One common question we always hear is:

“Where and how do I start my SEO Campaign from?”

A couple of points to note before we start -

We are assuming that you already have the domain name because finding a good domain name would be a separate topic.

Here are some of the most important steps that you can yourself take care of before going to any SEO company to manage your search engine marketing campaign.

1. Find your targeted keywords

The first and most important step is to determine what are the most important keywords for which you want your website to appear on search engines? You know your business more than anyone else. You know your target audience. So find out 10 phrases which you think that your prospective customers will search for.

2. Set the title of your website pages right

After you have decided on your keywords, the next step is to set them up properly. The title of your web page is the very first thing that any search engine crawler will read and take as a factor to rank your website. Your homepage title should contain your targeted keyword. All the other pages of your website should have title related to the content of that respective page. For e.g., the title of the registration page should be “Registration”. Keep in mind that you are not promoting your “registration” page. The idea is to “set things right”.

3. Set up meta keywords and description

Though Google has said they do not read meta tags content we still advise to put your targeted keywords in meta name=”keywords”/ field and one line description of your website in meta name=”description” field in your header tags. Many other search engines will still read them and Google won’t give you negative marks for that.

4. Unique content for the home page

Your website’s homepage should have a unique content describing your business. This introductory text should have the phrases that are in the title of the page. Experts say that you should use your targeted keyword 2-3 times in every 200 words so as to not get caught up for keyword stuffing. If possible, put your local business address and phone number on home page & contact us page to get noticed on “local business results” on Google.

5. Business Blog

Google loves a blog and so do the other search engines. Having a business blog pays – and this is something you should always remember. Whatever business you have, you must write 1-2 posts every week about your business. The articles can be about an industry news, a website update, a new recruit in your company – anything that relates in some way or the other to your business.

We recommend using wordpress because they are easy to set up and the come up with various SEO Plugins that help in optimizing your blog for search engine rankings.

6. Install Web Analytics

Once your website is up, you would definitely want to monitor your traffic. Any analytics software will show you how many visitors come to your website daily, where are they coming from and which keywords do they use on search engines to get on to your website. These are the most important metrics.

7. Monitor your website rankings

Of course you are just starting your campaign. You might not be in top 100 on Google but sooner or later if you do the right things at the right time, you will find yourself in top 10 for that elite group of your targeted keywords.

Aku sudah gabung dengan formula bisnis sejak Mei 2009 dan selalu mengikuti arahan2 yang selalu datang ke emailku dari the ” master “ .

Memang kalau kita baca postingan the master formula bisnis , bagus dan sangat menjanjikan , super dan mantap .Tapi kenapa untuk prakteknya terasa masih sulit dan tersendat , apa karena saya yang masih cubluk atau ini ada hubungannya dengan tanda belum siap jalan.

Bikin blog aja sebagai salah satu sarat untuk etalase produk 2 yang udah siap ditawarkan , malah masih mangkrak alias belum jadi2 .

Proses kali ye ……..Desakan hati belum ada , saya percaya yang memberiku hidup dan rejeki belum memberiku jalan sepenuhnya dibisnis ini . Perlu pembelajaran yang agak panjang dan motivasi yang selalu membangkitkan semangat ,terutama dari mas Joko Susilo dengan postingan2 yang selalu gres inspirasi nya. Tapi aku butuh duit . . . . . ? ?

Begitulah aku mengikuti kata hati ini , yang muncul ; aku harus bergerak .

Jadilah aku manfaatkan seefektiv mungkin beberapa ruangan 2 dirumah .

Aku bikin kost2an ,lumayan ada tujuh kamar sebulan bisa laku 3,5 juta, tapi dibulan puasa tiga ruangan kosong lagi.
